Our Wedding

Peter and I were married on June 17, 2010 in the Bountiful Temple. It was a beautiful day, sunshine without any clouds. Unfortunately, we could not say the same thing about the night before, the night of our  reception in my parent's backyard. It poured rain that night, so we moved the reception to the church. We seem to have bad luck in my family with outside receptions. But, it was still beautiful and fun, and my mom got her new deck and a beautiful backyard, so all was well.

The same day of our reception, Peter's dad got set apart as the mission president for the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission and his mom got set apart as his companion. Elder Bednar set apart Peter's dad and Elder Hallstrom set apart his mom. It was a really neat experience to be there with all of Peter's siblings and almost all of the in-laws, just missing Nikki, and to hear the blessings they were promised. 

After the setting apart I headed to go get ready for pictures and the reception. Peter and I did pictures at the temple before the reception so we wouldn't make everyone wait at the luncheon while we did pictures the next day. My mom, sisters, sisters in law and aunts helped a lot with getting the reception ready so I didn't have to worry about much. We pretty much just showed up and had a blast. Here are a few pictures:
